Apple is preparing for a major September event expected to feature the iPhone 18 Pro and several new devices. The presentation could also reveal more about Apple’s Siri AI strategy and how the company plans to expand artificial intelligence across its ecosystem.
The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to bring performance, camera, and design improvements, along with deeper integration with iOS 27. Apple may also introduce a new premium or foldable iPhone model, although the company has not confirmed those plans.
Several smart home products are also in development, but Apple could reserve them for a separate event in October or November.
The most notable is a home hub with a roughly 7-inch square display. It could control smart home devices, show photos and information, support video calls, run Apple apps, and provide full Siri AI integration. The device may launch in late 2026 or early 2027.
Apple is also rumored to be preparing a refreshed Apple TV 4K with a faster chip, more memory, and upgraded networking hardware. Updated HomePod mini and full-size HomePod models could receive newer processors, while the HomePod mini may also gain additional color options.
Another possible addition is an Apple-designed smart home camera built to work with the home hub and Apple Home. This would give Apple greater control over security, video processing, notifications, and privacy.
Other products rumored for later in 2026 include an OLED iPad mini, M6-powered Macs, a new Mac mini, and an updated Mac Studio. Apple is also reportedly developing a high-end OLED MacBook Pro with a touchscreen, although it is unlikely to appear at the September iPhone event.
Apple’s fall announcements could therefore extend well beyond the iPhone. The broader story may be the expansion of Siri AI across phones, displays, speakers, televisions, Macs, and smart home products.
The September event should clarify which devices are ready and whether Apple’s redesigned Siri can become the foundation of a more connected and intelligent ecosystem.
